{"id":4265,"date":"2021-12-01T09:49:42","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T09:49:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scottishspca.org\/news-items-needed-for-angus-fife-and-tayside-centre\/"},"modified":"2025-01-07T14:30:06","modified_gmt":"2025-01-07T14:30:06","slug":"items-needed-for-angus-fife-and-tayside-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scottishspca.org\/news\/items-needed-for-angus-fife-and-tayside-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"Items needed for Angus, Fife and Tayside centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"paragraph-3629\" class=\"paragraph paragraph--type--content-with-summary paragraph--view-mode--default\">\n<div class=\"clearfix text-formatted field field--name-field-content-with-summary field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item\">We are appealing for items for animals in the care of our Angus, Fife and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre. <\/p>\n<p>The centre is in need of poo bags, litter trays and Kong extreme toys.<\/p>\n<p>Items can be purchased from the centre\u2019s Amazon wishlist or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre. <\/p>\n<p>Centre assistant manager, Dale Christie, said, \u201cMany dogs don\u2019t adapt well to a kennel environment so providing them with enrichment toys can really help to stimulate them mentally and keep their mind active.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are in need of Kong extreme toys which are great as they provide enrichment and a treat for the dogs in our care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs incredible as our team is, there is no substitute for a secure and loving home. Any form of enrichment that is going to help these dogs to adapt to a home environment, such as Kongs, will have a positive effect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs people can probably imagine, we go through a large number of poo bags every day and we\u2019d really welcome donations as stocks are running a bit low!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also need some new litter trays for cats in our care, like Bailey.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so thankful for your support so that we can continue to provide the best possible care for the animals at our centre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know the animals will be too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Items can be donated via the centre\u2019s Amazon wishlist here: <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3FUoZ0N\">https:\/\/amzn.to\/3FUoZ0N<\/a> or sent from another online retailer that can deliver.
