{"id":4111,"date":"2022-07-13T09:50:31","date_gmt":"2022-07-13T09:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scottishspca.org\/news-staff-members-to-take-on-ultimate-challenge-with-15000ft-skydive\/"},"modified":"2025-01-07T14:29:17","modified_gmt":"2025-01-07T14:29:17","slug":"staff-members-to-take-on-ultimate-challenge-with-15000ft-skydive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scottishspca.org\/news\/staff-members-to-take-on-ultimate-challenge-with-15000ft-skydive\/","title":{"rendered":"Staff members to take on ultimate challenge with 15,000ft skydive"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"paragraph-4006\" class=\"paragraph paragraph--type--content-with-summary paragraph--view-mode--default\">\n<div class=\"clearfix text-formatted field field--name-field-content-with-summary field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item\">\n<p>Team members Chloe Fleming and Rebecca Cain from our\u00a0Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre are planning to take on the ultimate challenge \u2013 a 15,000ft skydive to raise money for the Society.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe and Rebecca, who are both animal care assistants at the centre, will be aiming to complete the skydive on 31 July.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe said, \u201cWe\u2019ve recently taken over the fundraising for our centre and we wanted to start with something big and memorable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our first time doing a skydive and we\u2019ve been trying not to think about how scary it will be!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re both adventurous although Rebecca is scared of heights and can\u2019t even stand on a ladder without trembling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sure when we start the drive to the location the nerves will really set in and we\u2019ll be wondering why we got ourselves into this but we would do anything we can to help the animals we care for at the centre. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe money we raise will be going directly to improving facilities at the Dunbartonshire and West of Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre to help animals like Micky and Jackson.
