Neither are chipped. We believe one to be a possible Holland lop and the other a cross lop.<\/p>\n<article class=\"align-center media media--type-image media--view-mode-full\">\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-media-image field--type-image field--label-visually_hidden\">\n<div class=\"field__label visually-hidden\">Image<\/div>\n<div class=\"field__item\">  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/full_content\/public\/2022-08\/IMG_20220803_090310_209.jpg?itok=lHNpwDcC\" width=\"847\" height=\"635\" alt=\"a brown and white lop eared rabbit sitting in a hutch\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" class=\"img-fluid\" \/><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n<p>\u201cAlthough there are wild rabbits living in Scotland, these rabbits are domesticated animals and would not have survived the elements and predators in the wild.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate that the person who left the rabbits may have intended for the animals to be found but this is not the right way to give up an animal if you can no longer care for them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThankfully, they are unharmed and are now at one of our animal rescue and rehoming centres where they are receiving the care they need.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf anyone recognises these rabbits we would ask that they contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are\u00a0appealing for information after two rabbits were left in a cardboard box on Caldercruix Road, Airdrie.
