The Scottish SPCA is desperate to find a home for a loving Lurcher currently in the care of their Fife, Tayside and Angus Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

The centre has been caring for Biffy for 63 days, but sadly she has had little interest.

Centre manager, Anna Keen, said, “Biffy is such a good girl who loves cuddles and being the centre of attention. She enjoys going on walks and doing zoomies around our enclosed area! She is such a playful girl and would really benefit from an active home who can tire her out and let her snooze the day away in a comfy bed after some exercise.

“She walks superbly on her lead and rarely pulls but due to her breed she will need to be kept on a lead at all times when out and about as she has a high prey drive. She would love direct access to an enclosed garden so she can run around and play.

“Although Biffy enjoys the company of other dogs on her walks, she would prefer to be the only animal in an adult only household.

“Biffy has been used to living in a kennel environment prior to her arriving into our care therefore she may need an adjustment period to settle into her new home. Biffy is a super dog and with time, we are sure she would love the cosy beds and comfort of a home!

“She is the most amazing dog who makes the team at the centre laugh and smile everyday with her goofy personality.”

If you would like to give Biffy her forever home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/8883-biffy

If anyone is concerned about an animal, please do not hesitate to contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.

We need your support. From as little as £1, you can save lives.
