She is in extremely poor condition and emaciated.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was handed to a member of the public by a man after they confronted him about the state of the dog.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe claimed the dog belonged to his friend.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are keen to speak to the person who was looking after the dog and the person who owns her. Unfortunately, she is not microchipped so we are unable to trace any owner details. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf anyone recognises this dog, or has any information about her circumstances, they should call our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are appealing for information after an emaciated dog was found on Dumbarton Road at Whiteinch on 31 July.
