A member of the public managed to pick up the carrier and bring the cats to one of our centres.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth cats are females but are unfortunately not microchipped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate that whoever left the cats may have intended for them to be found but this is not the correct way to give up a pet if you can no longer care for them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x\">\u201cIf anyone recognises these cats, or has any information about their circumstances, they should call our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are&nbsp;appealing for information after two cats were found abandoned beside a slip road on the M74.
