They had been left beside a charity clothing bin in cold and rainy conditions with no food or water.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThankfully a member of the public found them mid-morning and took them to a nearby vet. However, sadly one of the budgies later died.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate that whoever left the budgies may have intended for them to be found but this is not the correct way to give up a pet if you can no longer care for them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe remaining budgie is now in the care of one of our animal rescue and rehoming centres.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf anyone recognises these budgies, or has any information about their circumstances, they should call our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are appealing for information after two budgies were found in Cameron Crescent, Bonnyrigg.
