This means you are responsible for ensuring your Guinea pigs are happy and healthy by protecting them from pain, suffering, injury and disease.<\/p>\n<p>Guinea pigs often don&#8217;t show any outward signs of pain, so it\u2019s important to do regular health checks at home and schedule regular check-ups with a vet experienced in their care to ensure your pets are healthy. If you notice changes in their normal behaviour, such as not eating, being quieter than usual or hiding more, speak to your vet.<\/p>\n<p>Check your Guinea pigs regularly for any abnormalities. When you\u2019re spending time with them or grooming, look out for any lumps and bumps or problems with their nails and teeth. Make sure you also check the soles of their feet for any swelling, redness or sores. If you notice any problems, speak to your vet.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section><a id=\"dental\"><\/a>\n<section class=\"text-block my-5\" data-bs-theme=\"white\">\n    <div data-aos=\"fade-up\" class=\"container-xl wrapper-sm\">\n        <div class=\"content-wrap\">\n            <h2><b>Dental Care<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>A good diet with plenty of roughage should keep your Guinea pigs\u2019 teeth in shape.<\/p>\n<p>You should check their teeth regularly and consult your vet if you suspect any problems.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section><a id=\"microchipping\"><\/a>\n<section class=\"text-block my-5\" data-bs-theme=\"white\">\n    <div data-aos=\"fade-up\" class=\"container-xl wrapper-sm\">\n        <div class=\"content-wrap\">\n            <h2><strong>Microchipping<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Guinea pigs have a very sensitive neck area and not much of a scruff.
