What is the Glasgow Zipslide?

Take to new heights and join Team Scottish SPCA on an adventure across the Clyde.

Starting at the Riverside museum, fly through the air at 100ft and travel 1245ft across the Clyde, taking in the views of the City below.

No experience is necessary as training is given on the day.

You will have support from our Fundraising Team throughout your fundraising journey.

You will receive a Scottish SPCA T- Shirt.

With a city centre start and finish, the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run is a celebration of everything that is great about Glasgow: inspiring urban architecture, green spaces, history, music, strength, spirit and, of course, great people, personality and humour. Thousands take part in the half marathon or 10k running event each year to challenge themselves and to raise money for good causes. And Scotland’s friendliest city always delivers on the support front too, with crowds of locals turning out each year to cheer and high-five from beginning to end. Plus, there are medals, finisher t-shirts and bragging rights for all!

To register for the 10K you must be 15 or over on event day.
To register for the half marathon you must be 17 or over on event day.

The route starts and finishes just outside Edinburgh at Musselburgh Racecourse. The Scottish 10K route is seriously fast and flat! You’ll run out and back along the magnificent Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse. Come and be a part of it!

What is the Supernova Forth Road Bridge Run?

On Saturday 1st November 2025, the iconic Forth Road Bridge will be completely closed for you to walk, jog or run 5k and help change thousands of lives for the better.

Who can take part in the Supernova Forth Road Bridge Run?

Any age of entrant is allowed so long as the individual is healthy enough to do so. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at the event by a parent or guardian but the parent or guardian does not have to take part in the event itself. Therefore, children are allowed to run in the event unaccompanied provided the individual supervising them is happy for them to do so.
